Resistance (MUSE)

O quinto post do blog irá abordar a música que teve duas nomeações nos 53º Grammy Awards 2011 (Melhor Performance de Rock por um Dueto ou Grupo Musical e Melhor Canção Rock): Resistance!

Escrita por Matthew Bellamy (vocalista, guitarrista e pianista dos MUSE), a música da banda de Rock Progressivo/Rock Alternativo inglesa, MUSE, foi inserida no álbum The Resistance.
Para além das nomeações nos Grammy Awards 2011, Resistance atingiu o 35º lugar no Triple J's Hottest 100, em 2009.

O Videoclip da música mostra imagens da The Resistance Tour, iniciada a 22 de Outubro de 2009 e finalizada dois anos depois, no dia 28 de Agosto de 2011. A tourné contou também com músicas como Time Is Running Out, Starlight, Plug In Baby, United States of Eurasia e Hysteria e marcou presença em vários países europeus, incluindo duas passagens por Portugal (Pavilhão Atlântico e Rock In Rio).
